It was very quiet, comfortable and friendly. Despite having atrocious weather (November gales and rain!), we visited Girvan, Maybole, New Galloway - and explored the surrounding area by car. <br /><br />We were extremely impressed by the well-organised walks in the area and plan to return in the spring and explore more of the area by foot. <br /><br />Brunston Castle is situated in the village of Dailly - which is only a few miles from Turnberry (one of Scotland's premier golf courses.)
